Melanie Crandall MFTI (She/Her)

Melanie is a warm, empathetic, and culturally attuned therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. She is especially drawn to helping clients explore their identities, strengthen their relationships, and heal from trauma through a collaborative and inclusive approach.

With a deep respect for each client’s lived experience, Melanie integrates systemic, cognitive, and narrative therapy approaches, empowering clients to re-write their stories and create meaningful, lasting change. She is committed to providing a safe and affirming space for people of all backgrounds, with a special focus on culturally sensitive care and LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy.

Melanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and is now completing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. She is also certified in Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence. Her clinical interests include trauma recovery, relationship dynamics, social justice-informed therapy, and working with historically marginalized communities.

Outside of her work, Melanie enjoys traveling with her husband, watching films, reading, spending time with her dog, and trying new food. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and brings a compassionate, grounded presence to the clients she serves.
