Joni Haws, CMHCI (She/Her)

Joni is a compassionate therapist who strives to meet her clients wherever they are in their journey. She takes a client-centered approach and works collaboratively to overcome challenges such as life transitions, difficult relationships, faith changes, and loss. She recognizes that feeling emotional or physical pain can make it hard to believe that good things are on their way. Joni has experience helping individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic conditions and believes that there is always a reason for hope. She uses techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, and Narrative Therapy to support her clients as they write the next chapter of their story.

Joni is a senior student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature.
