Alyana DeSouza Kay CMHCI (She/Her)

Alyana is inspired by positive energy and is dedicated to helping others navigate both the challenges and joys of life. She employs a client-centered therapeutic approach, believing that individuals possess the answers within themselves. By working collaboratively and providing support, she assists her clients in creating effective action plans and solutions. Alyana is aware of the pride and struggles associated with individual identities, which enhances her ability to empathize with those she serves. She tailors her methods and areas of expertise to meet the specific needs and goals of each client in a safe and supportive environment.

Currently, Alyana is in the process of completing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She also earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Child Psychology from the University of Utah. With eight years of experience as a teacher at Montessori, she takes pleasure in observing children as they develop and realize their potential. Alyana is enthusiastic about utilizing the skills she has gained from her teaching background and her master's studies in counseling, assisting both children and adults to reach their fullest potential.

In her leisure time, she likes to knit, spend time with her friends and family, and explore unique treasures at thrift stores and vintage shops.
